Diamond Divas dance team is a team of girls aged 10 and up, based in Hvidovre, Denmark. We are part of the great local club HvG37. We are 2 coaches, Louise Blohm and myself - Sumaya Sabine Boston Simonsen. We both share a great passion for dance and we've set our sights out to build up a strong and powerful dance section in our club, starting with the wonderful team Diamond Divas.
We do mostly hip hop and show dance but we also do some other genres such as lyrical, contemporary, jazz, etc. to make sure that our girls have the opportunity to broaden their dance-vocab.
Our season starts Monday Sept. 2nd and runs until Wednesday April 30th and practice is every Monday (16.00 - 18.30) and Wednesday (17.00 - 19.00)
Throughout the season we have several shows, performances and social events for the team to make sure that we get to spend a lot of time together to create a great bond and so that we all get to dance as much as possible and show off our skills!!!
This blog, among other things, is created in an effort to bring awareness to our great dance team so we can continue to grow as a team and also as a section within the club.
